By my calculations, yesterday was the the 5 week mark. I'd like to start taking weekly belly pictures, although I know it'll still be awhile before I have a belly. I've decided to embrace the "shameless selfie" theory as another way to celebrate being pregnant.
When I was pregnant with Evelyn, before we knew gender, we called her our peanut. Her first ultrasound even looked like a peanut. So I can't use peanut as a nickname this time.
I'm a fan of Dr. Suess. The Grinch is a Christmas must, and Horton was our daughter's first story time book. So, baby, I dub thee our "Who" (as in the Whos of Whoville).
Here are our 5 weeks stats:
Our little Who is the size of an apple seed!
Cravings: Anything edible!! Except chicken.
Physical changes: None really. It's still pretty early. Although my jeans are definitely more comfortable unbuttoned.
Helpful thoughts: Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." I want to be her. I will be her.
