Our little Who is the size of a baked potato.
Cravings: Mmmmmmm baked potato... Eating everything in the house!!! I'm typing this as I let my dad's 60th birthday cake cool on the counter. Dad, I hope you appreciate the willpower it took for me not to go face down in this thing before you get it. Happy birthday!!
Physical changes: I remembered what I was gonna write last week! My lower back is always itchy. It's an important detail, I'm glad I remembered. I've heard of itchy stomachs because of stretching skin, but my back!? Is my back stretching!!?? It's also getting harder to bend and pick things up. This is a challenge in a world with a fifteen-month old who likes to collect small objects and move them in piles from the floor of one room to the next. Josh says he'll buy me a claw-reacher-arm-thingy when I get too big to bend over.
Happy thoughts: I feel content. That's big for me. Even though I know that in a short time we will find out babies sex, I'm in no hurry. I'm not even counting days! I'm all about calm, slow, quiet, take-it-as-it-comes. I'm resting in the fact that God knows our future, so I don't have to. Honestly, being pregnant with a toddler is so completely different than being pregnant for the first time with no kids. I'm so busy with my daughter I forget I'm pregnant sometimes! Then I remember when Squeaks tries to headbutt me to the stomach.
