Our little guy is the size of an eggplant, and according to yesterday's ultrasound, weighs 1lb 10oz!
According to the internet (which we know is always right) my uterus is the size of a soccer ball. This would explain why my stomach feels like its between my boobs. I'm still always hungry, but I get full super fast, and heartburn kicks in when I eat too much. I'm working on finding that perfect portion size to fill me up without lighting my chest on fire. Does it exist? We shall see.
Physical changes: Kicking, kicking, kicking! Little dude really packs a wallop. If he gets going on a single spot too long it actually starts to hurt. I officially don't bend in the middle at all. Things like shaving my legs, picking up after my 16 month old daughter, and emptying the dishwasher have become almost acrobatic. I guess I'll just have to spend my time playing and making messes right along side Squeaks. Bummer (wink, wink).
Happy thoughts: Yesterday's ultrasound went great! Baby boy is growing right on schedule. While the ultrasound tech didn't have the warmest bedside manner, we still loved seeing little dude kicking and squirming on the monitor. When the tech switched the ultrasound into 3D we could have sworn our little guy had a mohawk!

Aw he is so precious! I still haven't found the right portion size either. I'm doing one a day Zantac and about to bump to two! ;)
