There seem to be differing viewpoints as to when the third trimester begins. Some say 27 weeks, others say 28. I've decided to hold onto the second trimester one more week and join the third-timester-starts-at-28 crowd. One, because I'm in no rush, and two, because this pregnancy is going by SO fast, I'd like to slow down!
Little dude is the size of a head of cauliflower, about 2lbs!
I am battling the mother of all sweet-tooths (sweet-teeth? sweet-tooths? Bad grammar.) I want cookies, cake, ice cream....just call me Veruca Salt. I want a goose that lays chocolate eggs!!!!!
Physical changes: Not a whole lot to report other than the usual. Getting bigger. Belly button getting smaller. Sleep nonexistent. Kicking, kicking, kicking!
Happy thoughts: My fourth of July baby shower is in two weeks!!!!! That's right, on the 4th!! I love fourth of July. Fireworks, BBQ, freedom....Merica!! Red, stars, and swimming pools. It means summer, my favorite time of year, and my favorite holiday (aside from Christmas). My shower decorations aren't baby related what-so-ever, and that's exactly how I want it. I'm not a frou-frou baby shower person. HATE shower games with a passion. We will have a blessing tree like at Squeaks' shower, a photo booth, and swimming. Fun! It's very me.
I'm also continuing to nest. Started sewing some widow treatments for little dude's room, and continue to collect wall decor. However, the perfectionist in me will not allow me to post pictures until it's totally done. So you'll just have to wait. ;)
