9 Weeks

Our little Who is the size of a green olive!

Cravings: It's hard to find anything that sounds good to eat. Plus, it changes moment to moment. I might be carving pasta, and by the time I make some/ Josh runs out and gets me some, it doesn't sound good anymore. It's like some cruel ironic pregnancy trick that I'm hungry ALL the time!

Physical changes: The bloating has subsided a bit, but I definitely have a bump now. It took a lot longer to start showing last time, but I've heard it happens faster the second time around cause you're already good and stretched out. My sciatic nerve is not happy at all either. I did some reading and a lot of women have this problem early on. As the uterus grows it pushes on the nerve. Stretching and walking, stretching and walking, and eating...and peeing.

Happy thoughts: We have officially decided to announce our little who to extended family at my 30th birthday party! I'm not terribly thrilled about this birthday, and I wouldn't normally want to celebrate it, but it's not really a birthday party. It a rues! Hahaha! It's gonna be so fun to see everyone's faces. We're having it the weekend before my birthday. I'll be just over twelve weeks pregnant. It also happens to land on my grandmother's birthday. Perfect.

I also have my nurse consultation next Tuesday for the high risk maternity department. The weeks after that will be my first appointment with my new doctor. Then the week after that I get to see my regular OB again. Then the week after that is another ultrasound! Yay!!! It feels comforting to be so closely monitored. It's also slightly overwhelming, but mostly comforting.
I think my butt is growing along with my belly!
