13 Weeks

Our little Who is the size of a peach!

Cravings: Still just food in general. We've had to increase our trips to the grocery store because I'm literally eating everything in the house. Pasta seems to be high up on the list this week though. I almost ate some for breakfast the other day, but ran out of time for anything but a smoothie.

Physical changes: Nausea has subsided quite a bit. Yay!! But, heartburn is taking its place I think. The littlest things will set it off, from eating too much, to not eating enough. Headaches are going strong too. At least one a day. Peppermint oil seems to help. Still peeing like crazy. I'm definitely feeling movement!! I have to sit really still, but I remember this feeling. I don't think I would notice it if I hadn't felt it before. It's awesome.

Happy thoughts: I am now 30 years old. Happy thought!? Yes. My twenties were blessed in many ways, but the more I think about it, the more I'm looking forward to my thirties. My twenties contained my hardest experiences, and while I'm glad for the person they've made me and the life they gave me, I look forward to moving on.

In baby news, since we are now fully "public" with the pregnancy, I don't have to worry about running in to anyone and having them notice my bump. I wear my bump openly and proudly now. No more baggy sweatshirts. Free the bump!!

In doctor news, I received a call from my regular OB yesterday. After discussing my most recent tests and ultrasounds with the high risk doctor, she doesn't think I need to be seen as often as originally planned! Instead of every two weeks, I'll continue seeming my regular OB every month, and high risk every few months, with monthly ultrasounds mixed in. Sounds good to me!
Second trimester here I come!
